Rules and Guidelines

Here at Epoch through Time we like to think that we are fair and not too strict however we do have some basic rules that we expect you to adhere to. First swearing will not be tolerated, if you swear your post will be edited and you will receive a PM warning. Secondly while blaspheming and the like isn’t banned we do ask that you respect others opinions and beliefs and as such we would prefer that you avoid using terms that some members may find offensive as much as possible.

Leet language (lol etc) isn’t completely banned but we do ask that you avoid using it in serious discussion boards (History Boards/Political/religious/announcements). Spam will be edited, if you stray off topic and wish to continue the conversation then we ask that you make a separate thread or use the PM system. The exception are some threads in The Common Room which will be marked as spam threads.

We ask that you save advertising for the Imperial Embassy. However if subtle we won’t remove a link from your signature. Any other advertising will be deleted and you will receive a PM warning. For all of the above you will get 2 PM warnings before receiving a month ban. You get 3 one month bans before a permanent ban.

Flaming (insulting another member) or Trolling (provoking a member making them flame you) will not be tolerated and we operate a three chance system on this (two PM warning and then a permanent ban). This includes personal comments; if you feel that you have been flamed by any member please let an appropriate member of staff know. This also goes for any explicit images, a member of admin will be the judge of what is appropriate, if you want to query before posting feel free to PM one of us.
